The cottage village ISTRA VILLAGE was commissioned in 2014 and is located in the nearest Moscow region. Enjoying nature, evening walks around the reservoir an hour's drive from the capital makes it attractive to abandon the capital's apartments in favor of suburban ones. Especially if there is no loss in comfort.
Customers who decided to take such a step, prudently turned to LVA-Interior at the stage of choosing a place of residence. The architects helped to choose a house and a plot, which, with small changes, answered all the wishes of family members. First of all, the alteration affected the facades: they replaced the existing windows with French ones in the floor, changed the doorways, painted the facade in a rich dark green color, adding natural stone and wood to the decoration. In addition to the building, a terrace was added, where a table for 12 people was placed and a kitchen was equipped. It turned out to be a summer playground for recreation and reception of guests.
On the ground floor, the authors removed almost all the partitions, while maintaining the traditional zoning. The unifying element of the concept was the Serpeggiante Grigio natural stone floor. There is a double-sided rosewood partition between the dining room and the fireplace, on which the TV panel is mounted. The main accent of the interior was a large blue glass lamp Barovier@Toso in the dining room.
The designers turned the staircase leading up into a self-sufficient architectural object. It is separated from the living room by an unusual curtain made of metal chains, and from the hallway by a glass wall. On the second floor there are three bedrooms and bathrooms.
Anna Karpova and Dmitry Kulish often use works of contemporary artists in their projects, because they give individuality to the space and solve decorative tasks. You can see how the rhythm of the painting by the German artist Julius Kersher is supported by the arrangement of spot ceiling lights, and the spacious hall room gathers around a two-tone golden-black canvas by Jan Davidoff.
