"The urban environment is a mirror of Russian urbanism". Lecture within the framework of the Russian Creative Week 2021

  As part of the Russian Creative Week, the audience was presented with a report by Dmitry Narinsky, corresponding member of the International Academy of Architecture (MAAM), member of the ASI Expert Council, Professor of the HSE Graduate School of Urban Studies, and Stanislav Kulish, head of the Virtual Architecture Laboratory, member of the Board of the Moscow Union of Architects, co-chairman of the Moscow Architectural Society "Urban Environment – Mirror Russian urban studies". They touched upon a very important problem: Moscow as a modern, convenient metropolis affects all other cities in Russia. And this influence cannot be called positive. The "architectural techniques" that are used in Moscow are trying to be mechanically transferred to smaller cities, but thereby only destroy them. Cities lose their individuality and become like one another.
